Hatice Yayla graduated from Ankara University, Department of Economics in 1985. She worked in Internal Audit Department of Garanti BBVA of Turkey as Internal Auditor for 5 years, between 1985 and 1990. Between 1990 and 1996 she worked as Assistant District Manager  of Garanti BBVA’s Ankara District. Between 1996 and 2012, she worked as Branch Manager of Garanti BBVA’s Kavaklıdere, Şişli, and Üstbostancı branches.

In 2012, she was promoted to Istanbul District Manager of Garanti BBVA, in charge of Corporate & Commercial and SME credit allocation. After 32 years of experience in banking industry, in January 2017, she moved to the US. She currently resides in Washington, DC and works in the insurance field by putting into practice the knowledge and the experience she gained in the financial industry. She is currently helping with developing women entrepreneurship educational programs for our foundation.
